Exclamation Official 2011 Formula 1 Season Thread

So i figured we all on this forum are automotive enthusiast so like last year here is the thread to discuss any and everything Formula 1. We can also use this thread for GP2 discussions as well.

Here are a few site I use regularly through out the season

http://www.formula1.com/default.html

http://www.gpupdate.net/en/

http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/

So here are my likings and opinions to start....My driver is Lewis Hamilton where ever he drives thats my team. Im a fan of Massa and Hiedfeld hope to see them do well and compete this season too.

What are your guys" thoughts on the new perelli tyres an adjustable wing and the return of the KERS system....Discuss.

Alonso is probably my favorite driver. he can adapt to nearly anything and MAKE a slow car quick. i'm really bummed that Kubica might never race F1 again; he's very talented. other than that, there's only one driver in the field that i don't care a whole lot for, and that's because he wrecked his teammate out basically twice last year. totally uncalled for.

i'm glad they made the tires less durable, but hopefully it doesn't make passing impossible later in the race due to marbling/clag off-line. at least it will make tire management more important. Button might very well have an advantage, since he's very very smooth.

as for KERS and the rear wings, that's a lot for the driver to manipulate between corners.

gonna be an interesting year!

Yes Vettel is a Duuch and webber is kinda of a **** both talented none the less. i like alonso when he drove the blue renaults battling shumi back in the day i dont think vettel will repeat but he will compete. i think this season will come down to both mclearan drivers, alonso, vettel and going out on a limb and say it time for shumi to shake things up a bit

that said, i miss Raikkonen and his robotic interviews, haha.

yes raikkonen is a robot lol thought for sure he would have been back this year. to me alonso has become more of a cry baby though sinc he left reanault the first time...e.g. when massa was whooping is ass in that on race he bitch and bitch that he was slowing him down when the fact is massa was way ahead..granted alonso was catching up fast so if he knew he was faster he would have caought him anyway the use the mighty skillzz he has and pass him like a man not that bitchassness crap with the team orders lol
