Rear Mounted Bike Rack??
I know a few people have been wanting a way to get their bikes around and this is what I have come up with. Pretty simple and works great so far! I didn't want a roof mounted rack and with the dual exhaust and low valance I didn't see a proper way to do a hitch mount either. I still need to cut the tubing down about 5 inches and send it off for powder coat. Feedback?

Get a SeaSucker rack. Looks much cleaner and very easy to setup and remove.

Wow... I like! Could you do up a DIY on how you made that, or is it something you'd sell?

Thanks man! Nomad C is a sick bike, I'm jelly. Quote:
I can make this set-up for anyone that doesn't want to DIY. I figure with parts and labor I could sell it for around $125.00-$150.00. (Tow hooks alone are like $30 each lol) PM me if interested. |

This could be a good solution for a tire tail as well. I know they said you can fit 4 race tires in the car, (and you can, I did it all last summer) but it would be nice to keep them out of the car.
Great work! |

That is quite nice actually! No contact at all to car, no modifications to car at all, should be pretty secure since the car is meant to be towed from those points too!
Do you recall what size tubing you got, and whats the rack brand? Ooh, that presents some ideas for a rear mount POV cam looking forward too! |
