Yea, about the only way I could make mine better than it is would be to replace cables. Some of the power cables are just long enough to reach. Honestly, since this is not a showpiece build and not a lot of people will see it, I'm leaning towards not worth the effort. With the case closed, and the black cables against a black motherboard, you can't see them anyway.

Redoing the cable routing in my case is on my to-do list, but honestly can't be bothered to do it.

I really need 3x displayports.

Anyway, introducing FireStorm. The benchmarks are my old 2011 vintage modded Dell XPS vs this one. I think it was a good price/benefit build. Pushing the specs any higher would have had a low return.

Still, the Dell was holding it's own given it's nearly a decade old.
Sweet build. Welcome to the AMD and 5700 gang. You can probably hide the 8 pin more if you route it through the 3.5 and 5.25 bays.

That is some art right there. Does the drain(?) valve go through the side panel? How do you get the panel off?

nope does not pass through, it's a tempered glass panel. Just some thumb screws and panel is off

I started playing through the Dead Space series again. Man, it was such great potential wasted in the end.

Yea, I ended up doing that. Unfortunately, the view is completely blocked when the unit is in the space I have for it behind my left monitor. I should have looked for a left-hand drive model!

the case I bought has grommets in the back that could be used to run something outside the case. I'm not using water cooling but I suppose that is what they are for. Never occurred to me.

I remember seeing the announcement and original trailers for this a few years back. It looks incredible, but seems to be one of those games that may never be finished.

Looked it up, first announced in 2014, still no completion date, at least not on their website. The Kickstarter page made promises of deliveries in 2018.

Now that that they are a Xbox Series X (and PC) exclusive maybe they'll have something in 2021. They are not a release title, at least according to their FAQ.
