Anybody need an extra 24v dump pack? I happen to have a spare one now, as I have no choice in downgrading to the 1.5. At least I left everything as close to unmodified as possible for my now completely useless battery relocation. All so I could save myself $200 on a 1.5 kit consisting of a $7 battery tray, $10 worth of abs, and 2 $5 cables.

debating on weather or not to post this. I don't want to piss anyone off, but I'm not pleased with my situation either.

Guess I'll go ahead and respond when I get home... before the Aux charger is included in the price as well.
The base kit is still a option. The dual dump was never officially supported...shiv did it on his own.

You can still do the dual dump but of course some of the wiring is up to you.

@fenton responded your PM! Can't wait.

MSSP Tires in 225 sized, better brake pads, OFT, E85 and ESC with 1.5 dump and possibility of getting the aux charger. For those who have the AUX charger, is it worth it?

I understand the dual kit was a prototype, and I have discussed it with Rob. Please excuse my persumption but I took this to mean there was not an option. (I realize it was a copy paste to all applicants):

The Details:
All kits will come with the 1.5 conversion as 99% of people are currently running this setup and it provides the best results for the FRS/BRZ. If you choose to purchase we will ship your kit out at the begining of next week. The kit being offered has everything you need to fully install the TQ250(with Drag reduction) and 1.5 conversion including the new auto on/off relay(so you dont have to worry about switching it on and off everytime you drive the car).

Price of the kit is as follows:
Full TQ250-24V 1.5 conversion = 1850USD + shipping (Usually 35 to 55 depending on location)

If I was mistaken and can still purchase the base kit at $1650, I will quickly edit my earler post and cease my whiny bitching.. (actually I'll do that anyway even though I enjoy it so much)

If the regular 1x dump version isn't available, I'm sure one of the ~20 or so phantom owners that converted to 1.5x can send you their original 1x dump battery cover or can you cut one out yourself. It'll probably be easier to convert the 1.5x wires to a 2x dump than the 1x wires, but I'm not a technical or engineer. In any case, someone can also send their 1x dump wire as well. Maybe someone close to your area, like FL?

I appreciate the Idea, but I have already built everything. I linked the dump packs, purchased a battery tray, and fabricated a tie down. The problem is/was that I have already invested time and money into the 2.0 setup, but from the looks of the PM, I was also going to have to pay for the 1.5 upgrade, whether I wanted it or not.

Rob can charge what he wants for his product, I have no problem with that. I think $1650 is a good price for the base kit. I just think $200 is/was too expensive for the components in the 1.5 upgrade kit, considering I spent about $45 on my custom 2.0 kit (connectors, battery tray, wires, and tiedown). Even more so now that 3 out of those 5 pieces (in the $200 1.5 kit) are replacements for parts that were included in the price of the base kit. The only completely new parts are the small .5 connector block that sits on top of the two small batteries, and the battery tray.
