hmmm, switchback LEDs and clear side markers will have to wait. I have to do a fluid maintenance soon, so I'll be replacing the engine oil, MTF, and the rear diff oil. Going to be pricey. First time I'll be doing the rear diff. I replaced the MTF a little past 7400 miles (currently a little past 42k). I just gotta find if I tossed the third quart of MTF (or if I even used it) before I place my order.

Its funny. I was under the assumption the diff was to be done at 30k but seems like it never has a firm replacement mileage just inspect every 22.5k miles. Mine looked really good this last time after a bit over 30k miles

I don't drive my car hard at all, just commuting. I don't think mine would be bad, but I just feel better replacing it. I'll have to order the gaskets/washers for the transmission and diff tomorrow from my parts department.

Yeah, cheap insurance imo. I do the ATF at 30k intervals and will keep doing the diff at the same time.

Argh, just remembered the brake/clutch fluid. That's a PITA, so I might go somewhere to have that done. Maybe @The Racers Line?

This is puzzling to me. I hate commuting with my car, it's not enjoyable at all to short shift and drive around at the speed limit and never let the car stretch it's legs.

How do you not have any desire to take it up to the twisties early in the morning and really step on it?

lol, I have no twisties in my commute. The only twisties I've gone on was the 17-mile drive. haha. I'll let her stretch her legs out on the "smoother" straight of Hwy37 east coming from San Rafael into Vallejo. I'd do either a 3rd or a 4th gear pull once or twice a week if no one is around (harder to spot a cop at night). I don't classify this as driving a car hard, but rather, preventative maintenance.

Actually, I lied, I remembered I was having fun at this one road between Napa and Sonoma. Found it while trying to find a spot to take pics at this one day. Would have been fun on the way back, but got stuck behind a pickup.
