Advice!!

I really need advice atm, I’ve only owned this car for less than 6 months. It’s my pride and joy Paid half with my own money and other half through a loan which I nearly had paid off. Then I get t-boned which wasn’t my fault, I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be a write off at this point but I’m really hoping not as it’s a special Edition and nearly done everything I want to it. I’m still waiting to hear back from the insurance and to be assessed but People have said since the air bags gone off it’ll be an automatic write off… What’s your options on it?

So sorry man. See if you can take the good stuff off before it goes away then get another car and install those parts.

Pretty sure that will indeed be totaled. Depends on the total repair costs and that won't be cheap.

Insurance should make the pain less, but take your special parts off and move on. Great to be alive and making choices. That's why you have insurance. You WANT them to total this out.

That looks like heavy structural damage, airbags deploying usually end up in total loss, but it all depends on structural damage too. Like others said, remove the good parts and possibly try to get another one, hell, you could put a big deposit for a brand new 2022 twin.

That thing is done. Get all the parts you can and move on. Plenty of used Twins will be coming to market really soon due to second Gen. But I would move to Second Gen unless you can't stand the looks.

Australian insurance companies haven't kept up with how the market is though, unfortunately. I recently bought and insured a 2016 BRZ in Sydney with NRMA, and they have the value at 18k (I paid 25k). I asked about agreed value, and they said they could go up to $24k. HA! Mine at 25 was one of the cheapest on Carsales in NSW. Most are over 30. Crazy.
