Turn 1 and 17 are the rough corners. They toss the car around pretty good.

Check out any of our videos and you can see the cars moving around a bit.

And when you try a new line at T17 you find the real bumps....

17 is a big boy turn for sure, if you are really on the edge the car will bounce left the whole way getting closer and closer to the wall on the exit. I sacrifice some lap time in 17 to avoid the bumps and keep the car happy. When entering 17, if you look at the ground, before the bridge, there is a black line and a white line that cross. I will aim at those lines, then a dot on the bridge, apex near the pit entrance and then let the car bounce to track out.

I'll share an older in-car from my old track Miata. Don't mind me pointing out how much I missed the apex of 16, missed it by that much! LOL.

You can see how much you get bounced around on the whole track.

I will also share one of Josh's videos of an exciting trip through 17. Keep an eye in the rearview mirror once the car stops. The rear hub failed and spit out the wheel mid-corner.

@MX-5RACER, Vic Leo turned a 2:24.xxx in Josh's Miata this weekend, even after it threw the Supercharger belt in 17

LOL Josh's reaction on that one was priceless.

I got the low-down from Josh on his way home. I have been helping him with that car for years now, including swapping in the current engine when an injector took out his last engine at Daytona. I am just happy he was able to run laps with minimal trouble. That is a new Supercharger set-up as well.

@Opie I had no idea you blew the trans too!?!
Might be one of your roughest visits to Sebring yet in the 86.

Killer lap tho! How did you like the Hoosier R7's on a cool track? They hooooook!
My 200tw (Dunlop ZIII) PB at Sebring was a 2:34 on 93 pump and Daves R2's. Sebring is such a riot, I hope to get out there for a few night laps next year.

Yo!!! It was cool meeting you guys! I spent most of the weekend just pounding on the car and fucking around, but I finally got my shit together on Sunday and ran the sketchiest 2:33.7 of my life with basically no pads left. If Ryan sells me his Sprint kit then I think I'll be in the 33s pretty consistently. No video, but I'll try and get some when I'm back for the MSF Level 2 instructor course in January.
