Removable fender vent covers?

Does anyone know if someone makes removable covers for the front wheel well to cover up the fender vents?

I appreciate the extra cooling, but I'm not building up enough heat daily driving to justify the amount of stuff thats getting sprayed over my door.

Ideally it would be something easy to remove/replace so you can take it off for track days. Maybe something that just covers up the vent in the wheel well? Like, a simple piece of plastic would reduce MOST of the spray.

I believe the fender vents are designed to reduce drag at speed by allowing the turbulent airflow created by the wheels/tires to re-integrate more smoothly with the overall airflow around the car. I don't think it has anything to do with cooling, but I could be wrong..

This is correct.

OP, the easy solution would be to be to cut some ABS plastic to fit, stick it on the inside of the fender with some 3M tape and call it good. I doubt anyone makes anything like this.

Some black duct tape right over the holes!

I guess duct tape could work, and since it would be inside the wheel well nobody would ever see the adhesive residue.

Thanks for the info everyone.

Yeah, in the mean time, it's definitely a custom job, no matter what you try to do. So keep it simple for now, and if better solutions come up in the near future, you can always give them a shot. The residue will be a minor pain to remove, but at least it's just on plastic.
But as Okie mentioned, if you want to do a cleaner job, you could play around with shoving something in the holes to clog them up. Or maybe even attempt placing the duct tape on the inside somehow. The fender vents do come off fairly easily from what I saw in a video if you want a better look at them.
