I installed these door edge guards as anti-wind-buffeting things the other day. I completely forgot I had them until it suddenly hit me that wind was a-buffeting and I reached for the rear window button. The buffeting really isn't too bad at public road speeds but my windows are at least partially down most of the time.

First I heard about any 2nd gen wind buffeting issue or solution (thanks @___LUNK) was by chance random browsing in the BRZ forum so figured I'd mention it here. I bought a pack and tossed in the box of junk I took with me to pick up the car just in case.

Today I bought dedicated snow tires and 16" steel rims.. for a car I don't physically have in my possession . My salesperson said early September "your car will probably be delivered this month." With just a few more days left in "this month", I'm having my doubts on that timeline. I do plan on driving this thing year-round though, and I'd need the tires/wheels anyways.

that's something i could never do. i'd been planning to get the tacoma since around 2016 when the refreshed styling came out--just the wrong timing at the time. i made some solid plans early 2021 to sell the ranger i had and make headway on buying the tacoma i actually wanted, but still didn't get a single thing i was planning until i had the truck a few months later...

Probably the last thing I’ll do to the car for foreseeable future. Got the Borla catback despite the “dogshit” warnings. I got bit by that a little though.. the tips don’t protrude evenly and I can’t cheat them in that direction. It’s barely noticeable but if it bothers me I’ll whack it with a hammer.

Anyhow the sound is exactly what I wanted. Super addictive.

Are you selling these or willing to share the 3D file? I would be interested in the same set up for my Garmin.

Happy to share, feel free to share the file to whoever. Post a pic of your creation once its done!

3D printing file:

On a different note, 512GB works, even through Garmin said 256GB is the max.

First cold wet morning drive this season (threw on the winter setup yesterday with the snow coming). Forgot how much fun winter driving is.

Just kidding
