Do you have a picture of the thinsulate in the wheel wells?

Also, based on your photos, couldn't -most of- this be done without removing the front seats & carpet?
Everything but the four bits of dynamat under the front seats looks like it could be put in by removing a couple of trim pieces & lifting the carpet? Or am I overly optimistic?

it could be done that way, yes, but honestly, it's way easier to just remove everything like that--you've already got to unbolt the seats and console to get enough freedom of movement to get in there. it just means muscling the seats/carpet/console out of the way twice. once to get out, and once to get in.

where the method you're thinking about is essentially like trying to do surgery in the middle of a tied-game 4th-quarter football huddle. every one of the big guy's(aka, the carpet) is trying to squeeze their way in to see the play, and you're in the middle trying to not get bumped while delicately laying down and adhering the dampening material.

I haven't yet, no. I'll get around to mounting/balancing/alignment/weight next week sometime. Without tires I believe they're ballpark 19-20lbs.

Switched back to e85. Car feels and sounds great! Amazing how a few mods transform the FA20.

Also went on the first canyon drive of 2022 with some friends. Excuse my dirty car (rained during my last track day).

I don't, unfortunately. But this is what I used, cut into strips 8in by 36in. It fits snug enough into the channel between the outer body panel and the inner framing that you don't have to tape it or anything. I inserted it from the front, near the speaker, then went around and pulled it through to the back.

Technically yes, but the seats aren't hard to take out, and once you've got the seats/console/trim pieces out, the carpet is pretty easy. I'm actually impressed how relatively simple the disassembly of the interior is on this car. The biggest PITA so far has been getting the hooks on the back seats to engage when putting them back in.

I installed a new starter battery. The old one was getting pretty weak. Whenever I start the car in the morning the radio turns off. I guess the battery doesn't have enough power to run the radio and the starter. So the radio is sacrificed. I've been using these 18 Amp Hr SLA batteries for about 8 years now and they work great here in Florida. They only last a couple years but they only cost about 38 bucks. And they're a lot lighter and compact than the OEM battery. Plus I have the Phantom ESC so I need 3 of these and 2 9 Amp batteries.
Now I need to break out the manual so I can reset the radio, clock, shift light, gear indicator, rev indicator and buzzer. (even though the car is so loud you can't hear the buzzer)

Oil change. Fumoto drain valve. Oil analysis mailed out.

In 3k more miles it'll be diff/trans fluid changes

Finished up my twin supercharger setup

So I got my car up and running on the twin AMR500 s/c setup. I'm working with Steve99 here on the forums with a remote tune and currently troubleshooting really rich conditions. Just sent him a log a few minutes ago, so hopefully we'll be able to figure it out and straighten it out here pretty soon...

I'm excited. Even running super rich, it was remarkably faster, but of course it should be. It should've just increased by 70-85whp...lol...

It's probably not quite that much more powerful yet since it's running so rich, so we'll see.

Anyways, soon I'll put together a full build thread and post some videos and some dragy results.
