With these cars this whole street circuits thing could use a rethink.

Man, Hamilton is just, really lucky. Again.

What a drive from Vettel though.

It looks like Pirelli determined the reason their tires blew last week at Baku.

From what I understood from this : “it happens”

Pirelli say the accidents were not caused by a defect in their tire construction;

They blame the incidents on how the tires were being run at the time. (???)

My guess is something to do with suspension settings causing a specific load profile on the tires.

*We did the investigation ourselves, and found out absolutely nothing wrong with our tires*

But they did find fault with the parameters they gave to the teams. Which may or may not indicate a design flaw.

If I were Russell, I would think twice about Merc if it were offered given their recent non-Hamilton off-track record. With the new regulations and competitiveness of other powerplants this year, he could wind up at one of the other top or near top teams.

For some reason I was under the impression that it would be Ocon replacing Bottas. Since Totto is his manager, after all. I mean Russell is good, and he had a close one last season. I guess I kind of believe it would happen, but wouldn't find much sense in it other than or the sake of keeping a British driver in the lineup for sponsors.

Well I guess not, Ocon just signed 3 more years with Alpine. Hello George Russell.

Aha, I thought something got lost in the IT to EN translation…

Pirellli seem to think there’s some funny business going on with tire low pressures and
have updated some “prescribed parameters” for the next race.

As much as I would like Bottas to succeed at MERC, He seems to have to work too hard to get noticed and misses some consistency.

Its time for George to move up to a real car and MERC will be a better place for him than he could hope for at Williams in the next few years.

Rumours are getting hot again about this.
