I still love watching the quali laps, I'll go back and watch Kimi's 2017 lap sometimes it's just so damn good. There are worse things then Monaco for F1 to do (USGP '06 anyone?), don't waste two hours watching it or whatever, you get 85% of the race from the 6 minute Youtube highlight anyway and it's still a feat to go run that track for 78 laps without fucking up, podium finishers deserve the credit as it's got to be one of the most mentally punishing <2 hour races.

If someone told me 6 months ago that in 2021 Vettel would finish ahead of Hamilton in a race solely on pure pace, I would have gladly bet any sum of money against them...

Qualy: Red flag saves the day for Hamilton yet again.... don't see how anyone can still deny the ridiculous luck/plot armor anymore
Anyway, really looking forward to this race. Ferrari almost certainly don't have the pace to stay in front, and safety cars likely to spice things up. Would love to see some good fortune for Bottas for once though. |
