Same here, I was installing hood shocks and noticed my engine bay was yellow. I normally use GUNK engine de-greaser and shine but these days it would be useless. I park in a private lot at work, which is underneath a tree, so my car is completely covered in pollen by the time I get out, I lost count how many times I've cleaned the car this month.

My deck and front stairs are completely yellow as well as the rails and the deck furniture. Took the leaf blower and it was clouds and clouds of pollen flying away. I don't ever remember it being so bad.

It's supposed to rain all weekend, which sucks for plans, but good for the cars and overall house. I'm tired of washing stuff.

Edit: A leaf blower is probably one of the best investments I've ever made. Clean gutters, leafs, dry cars, dust away pollen.

Welcome to every Spring in GA. The pollen gets so thick here you can literally see it falling out of the trees at peak. It's like green snow.

An actual photo (and yes, that is pollen on a paved road, not dirt):

It was really bad here for a while and died down. They harvest a shit load of grass seed here. Willamette Valley is called the grass seed capital of the world. I don't know how true that title is though.

Yea, you'd think. It is seriously nasty. Every car gets a nice green pearl coat to it.

Actual origin of the city name is from the 7 springs inside the original city limits (dating back to the early 1800s). The springs contained a slew of minerals that produced a surrounding sand that looked like gunpowder. Original name was 7 Springs, then Gunpowder Springs, but over time got shortened.

Huh.. That's kind of cool. Never seen anything like it. Then again, I haven't visited any other states as much as I would like to.

Some days in information security you get to sandbox new malware, extract IOCs, and then maybe mess around with a web directory structure because the threat actor failed to properly security it.

Other days you spend the entire morning writing technical emails to non-technical executives because they watched some old 60 Minutes clip on YouTube and are convinced that they're being personally monitored by the FSB, MSS, and at least a half dozen APTs. Everyone knows it is only the NSA that does that, and we all already know that you look at porn. Stop worrying about people finding out already.

Properly security it? Maybe I should proofread those emails one more time.
