Yes, and we're past BVSS (broken valve spring syndrome)

The cars that haven't been totaled are just purring along.

I've experiencing that "chirping" sound after chaning a gas station recently, first time, even after 120,000km mileage. And getting used to that sound because that gas station is cheaper. No sound when filling up at a gas station where I previously filled up.

As I reported in other threads, (Drove my BRZ today and did not crash and the photographers thread) we drove our tS over 4600 kilometers down to North Carolina and hit most of our favorite roads. It goes in for the winter tires tomorrow, not that it sees much snow but it has happened. It’s just over five years old and will turn, ready for this… drum roll please… 27K sometime next week.
I feel so unworthy... with so many doing 6 digits in miles. But I still have a big smile on my face when ever I drive it.

Once you crossed over the border you weren't racking up kilometers, kind sir.

Ah ya, I was, forsooth I was. Pray tell do you take me for a naive?
I maybe able to switch the digital speedo to show miles per hour but the odometer still reads in kilometers.

The two first-gen forums, BRZ & FR-S/86, should be merged.

My 2020 Sport Tech RS (bought new in late February 2021) just rolled 14,500 kms, so I'm right there with ya...LOL.

I've worked from home since before we bought the BRZ, and for longer road trips we usually take my wife's vehicle, so it just doesn't see a lot of use, averaging a little less than 500 kms per month.

Garage
Turned 100k miles next to Arrow Rock Reservoir east of Boise two weeks ago.
Back home successfulment and still running smoothly.

Nothing broke and has continued not breaking.
Not much else to report on other than some twisting roads.

Yup - my wife's about the same with her commute.

Are you doing all that mileage with your FR-S, or another vehicle? If the FR-S, how's the reliability been as the mileage has gotten higher - any issues?

I'm hoping to eventually top 100,000 kms before they ban the sale of gasoline...LOL.

That's what I do with the FRS (I'm at @230,000miles/370,000km). I've only had one breakdown which was caused by a loose battery holddown.

I do another 16000km a year in the family Suburban.
