I get 25.4 mpg. But mostly only drive in the city. Work is about 6 minutes away. So lots of stop and go for me.

Yeahhh, that'll kill the mpg's for sure. Since I work from home, the travelling I do is mostly along 26/217 and or up to Seattle. The whole 'set it and forget it' is the way of life with cruise control and myself. lol HOWEVER.. I mean one MUST merge "at least up" to freeway speeds, so on ramps are a girl's best friend. haha

Mine shows 23.8 but that is pretty skewed. I have barely street driven my car except to go get lunch this summer. I think I went through about 70-80 gallons of E85 the last 4 track days.

I really wish this wasn't on Aug 28th. Got a family reunion to go to.
I would like to show off my new toy! Sold my FRS two weeks ago and I have a Edelbrock SC BRZ right now, putting 4.875 FD gears in it next week

I'm down to do another meet up sometime, i'll keep an eye on the forums

I think I was getting around 8-9mpg on pump gas and around 5mpg on E85 I couldn't imagine being FI and running E85 on track.

I'm putting the 4.875 gears in a separate diff and will keep the 4.1 FD diff for longer/faster tracks like PIR.
Daily driving shorter gears is a blast, I had 4.56 in my FRS and it completely changed the character of the car for the better. It did leave me between gears sometimes that's why i'm going even shorter for maximum tom foolery. 4.875 is around 20% higher torque to the wheels & RPMs. Top of 5th is still around 110mph which is generally plenty for most tracks.

Gas mileage with the SC is DEFINITELY worse lol. I'm averaging 15mpg but that's mostly due to datalogging for Zach and him needing a heavy foot to properly diagnose fuel trims & ratios. It pulls all the way to redline

On a side-note, I am signed up for ORP Sept 20th
And then going to The Ridge up in Shelton on Oct 2nd
I'm also running 265/35/18 tires square :O

I don’t really look at the mpg much. Honestly, the car is fun to drive and that’s all that matters to me. When I lived in Hawaii, I had a 83 k20 with a 383, 8 inch lift and 33 inch grabbers. Needless to say, I got single digit mpg. And in Hawaii, your either going uphill or downhill, no a lot of straights. Loved to drive it, but it sure was a wallet smasher.

I have a TT at PIR the 20th and then will be doing the Ridge on Sept 4th. They are trying to get me out on Oct 2nd but I will probably put the car away for the year by then.

I am probably going 4.44 and just going to up the rev limit to 8k with some stiffer valve springs and the rocker retention kit.

Honestly 4.44 isn't that much higher RPMs, I highly recommend doing shorter gears from OEM. They even started giving 2017+ years a OEM 4.3 FD ratio I believe

Based on my driving data it will be the best compromise for myself. I only need to shift things about 400rpm to be happy and it will save me a few shifts per lap on most laps. I went from a 4.1 to a 4.3, and now back to a 4.1.
