I saw that but in one graph the pull was cut short, and almost the exact same RPM on the other graph starts a decline. So, I'd be curious to know what exactly happened.

Original manifold is known to provide sufficient air flow up to 7200 RPMs. I am not aware that the newer manifold can provide the necessary flow for a higher redline. Maybe it is true, but we need evidence

Are we looking at different posts? They both show power and torque being essentially identical until the top end. The turbo car appears to have some issues with its boost controller as the boost builds, but outside of that the difference in the curves are negligible.

The turbo car seems starts showing a difference in the curve at ~6500 rpm, while the NA car starts showing a difference at ~7000 rpm.

I fully agree that this as a mod for more power would only be useful for a very limited group of people.

Good point. It looks like one stops at 7450rpm, which is stock redline IIRC. The other stops at ~7600rpm.

LOL! Thanks. Was looking on my phone and where the two lines crossed on the bottom graph I carried them to the end backwards. Looking on the computer monitor I see they are pretty much the same.

It looks like on the NA car the 3500 to 4000 dead spot is gone though

The red line is the 2017 manifold, which actually loses more power in the valley than the blue line.

Given the 180 whp, I'd guess there was a header involved as well. That's likely more responsible for the lack of dead spot.

My point is that every type of racing, drag racing, road racing ect...
The longer you can stay in a gear and make power the less shifting and time you lose.

For street use is it worth it? No
For actual functional use yes.
How many of you with a tune leave the factory redline?
How many of you are seeing the car fall on its face at 6800 RPM?

anyone have a flowbench they could use?

I'm pondering buying it for cheap with some extra cash laying around. If nothing else, at least it cleans up the engine bay

I have access to a flow bench and have spare plastic manifolds. But the proof is in the dyno. It flows more at the top end which is why it produces more power. Unfortunately these are now back ordered until December 2016

65mm on the plastic manifold (I will double check this weekend if you like). I am quite certain it will be the same for the new one as well!
