WTB: (OH) Carbon drive shaft for manual trans

Like the title says. Looking for a carbon drive shaft. Located in SW Ohio. Willing to travel. Velox preferred but will entertain other brands.

Bump - I really want an OG Velox/Verus carbon drive shaft. If the condition is good I will pay $1200.

Why don't you call Verus? $1174.95 with free shipping?

Because they revised the part and the new one is 15+ pounds vs 10.9 for the OG shaft. I already received one of the new heavy ones and shipped it straight back to them.

If it is the 10.9 lb version I will pay $1200 plus shipping. Send me a PM when you take it off and we can work out the details.

The fact of the matter is the new version is 15+ lb and is a significantly different part. As for why they don't update their website with this information you would have to ask them. As you can imagine when I was expecting 10.9lb part and got a 15+lb part I sent it straight back.

Interesting. I'd be concerned why they beefed it up. Possible failures with the lighter one?

I have the DSS one they say is 12.2 lbs. I've had it for years, and smooth as silk.

Edit: accidentally posted the auto trans one. Manual is same price/claimed weight.

Will do, I can already tell you the ends look completely different from the one you posted up, mine looks basically the same as the photos verus has on their website.
