Just speculation though without data.
I'd be surprised if OFT can't log the high pressure fuel pressure rail; it's available in OBD2, and can be read by even the most rudimentary OBD2 device.

Correlating fuel level + high pressure fuel pressure, will give us a clue on what the actual cause is.

If you're tracking your car, I *really* recommend you get EcuTek. It is light years ahead of OFT in terms of features and performance.

I will see if I can get it to work with the Torque app.
My next track day is on the 30th, so I should have data then.

I do intend to get EcuTek, the problem is that I would need a flex-fuel tune as well, due to frequently travelling long distances where E85 is unavailable.
I would rather spend that roughly $2,000 on a fuel solution at this stage.

Should I run 235-40-17 tires on a 17x7.5 wheel or should I run 225-45-17? The tire would very likely be Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Specs.

Noted, but why? And how do G-force Rivals compare to Direzza Star Specs?

You get sloppier handling from a tire that's larger than or on the wide end of the recommended rim width, since it flexes more under high cornering forces. A 17x8 rim is usually best for most 225 tires. A 17x9 rim is usually best for most 235/245/255 tires. Tire manufacturers offer measured rim width and recommended rim widths. Best to get a rim that's either the same as the measured width or even better if it's a little wider but still within maximum recommended width (tire is slightly stretched on the rim).

Proper rim/tire matching is important in ax/track use where tires are pushed to their limits. Also consider effects of too little camber (i.e., tire wears more on outer edges), wrong tire pressure, tire sidewall stiffness, suspension set up given UTQG (stickiness and other properties of the tire compound), etc.

On an N/A car, what gauges would you consider most important to least important?

The speedometer on the left; why have that when you have a digital one?

Your best bet would be a vented hood, something with properly designed vents. You'll maintain the aerodynamics of the car and be actively evacuating hot air. Another byproduct is, if you get enough vacuum, it'll help keep the nose down.

Poor man's wind tunnel to test if your vents are working correctly, put a piece of paper under them and run a blower (shop vac in reverse or leaf blower that'll get you 60+mph velocity) across the top as if it were oncoming air. Paper sucks to the underside:

Here's an interesting question... I've seen with some tunes you can remap gauges. I recall on BMW's the MPG needle mapped to boost pressure.
Is it possible to map oil temp (since we don't have a gauge for it) to the speedometer? Our Kph goes to 260.

Take a look at the RE-71R's. They seem to be the hot new shoe. GRM did a comparison of them a few months back and there were some pretty good sales, like $70 off a set. They're a few bucks cheaper than the Rivals and Direzzas to start too.
