why would you want to remove the ABS? it helps you stop shorter.

No it doesn't, you can only stop as fast as your tires and the brakes are capable of stopping you. Abs was designed to help u stay in control when at the limit of braking, if you know how to properly threshold brake you'll stop just as quick.

Once upon a time not too long ago, before we had ABS mucking up the works, people were taught how to properly brake during all kinds of situations (weather, gravel, etc...). These days, some cars brake for you if it senses something coming up too fast. Won't be long and no one will need a license to drive because they won't be driving, the car will. Can't wait for the "Last Chase", hope that I'm the one driving.

You may be able to perform maneuvers you can't with ABS on, and ABS can disrupt things like making an aggressive breaking turn, but when it comes to pure breaking you won't out perform ABS. This is especially true with newer systems that combine accelerometer data along with the wheel sensors.

I love driving for fun, but I'll admit I will be happy when we get self driving cars. Who wouldn't love to just kick back and read or watch a movie on their rush hour commute.

I have the Perrin Oil cooler installed. Supercharged though, so not stock Intake.

Yeah and our airbox looks like it would run into that blower unfortunately, making a test fit extremely difficult. Thanks for the offer!
