I followed another user, used the window washer bracket then zip tied the can to the strut brace

Attachment 121014

Does it matter which lines go in and out of the 10-row Setrab cooler?

Basically, the OUT line from the Rotrex dumps directly into the cooler, I cut the hose short since the location was so close. The oil cooler then pumps upwards to the relocated oil reservoir, which again, now resides next to the battery. From there, it feeds to through the oil filter to the IN on the Rotrex.

My concern is how short the line is coming from the OUT as compared to Jackson's recommendation, where the line takes a longer path before it hits the oil cooler.

Thanks!
It doesn't matter which way it flows through the Setrab, but you want the Strab post-supercharger, pre-reservoir.

Here's how I did my dual setup. Fabricated a metal bar for the rotrex res. I saw someone do something similar deep in this thread.

Mine is the same as this. I used the washer reservoir relocation bracket to push this out closer to the firewall; I previously had my washer reservoir relocated because I used the oil cooler as NA, hence extra bracket. It'd be a good idea to get a better support like @m00shu , my reservoir is zip-tied to the passenger side brace in a couple of places.

Can someone do me a favor and get a video of your engine idling after a good warmup? My rotrex is a whole lot louder than it was when I first had the kit on for a few hundred miles.

This is mine idling at the moment. It's a bit concerning.

I don't have a good warmup clip but that's not normal. How's your fluid level?

At the moment with the engine off, the fluid level is a bit above the max. With it on and after revving a bit up to 2-3k, it is near max. The noise is really high pitched and piercingly loud, wasn't like that before.

I had the same exact thing happen to mine. You have to start a warranty claim with Jackson racing and rotrex. They will replace it

Did yours just happen out of the blue or was there something that happened that lead up to it? Also, did it cause any further damage or was it pretty isolated to just the kit?

Maybe add a bit more. Excess fluid just spits out of the top of the reservoir as vapor until it finds its happy level anyway. It won't harm anything, and at least you could eliminate current fluid level as an issue.

It started to be noticeably loud around 2400 miles on the rotrex. Unit and it sounded exactly the same as yours. I took it to Jackson racing and they told me to send it in. And was replaced in 6 days. I didn't do anything to it it just gradually got louder. I primed the unit exactly as the manual. Don't know what caused it.
