A bit of info on that can bus solution would be really helpful. Did you say you used the cf drive shaft?

you have a useless sports car. No front sway bar.....yea.

Canbus solution could probably be shared for a profit though!

Haters going to hate. It's not their car and you're doing what's fun for you. Disregard them, who cares if you aren't doing what they want you to do with the car. Are you having fun with it? Right, so let them be offended that you would do something that they wouldn't. Not saying I would put that engine in my car, but props for doing it! Definitely takes skill and dedication. Looks clean, good job!

I'd still like to see a 20B swapped in one of the twins but I doubt it will happen soon.

Simple steel drive shaft I had left over from previous project, just had to get it shortened.

Canbus solution is nothing special, just buy the Arduino and Canbus add on board. Costs like $75.00 for the parts. Requires a bit of soldering then upload the code. I have no problem sharing my code and I hope to improve it soon and get more things working.

I'm sticking with the fa20 for my current twin, but once these cars get down to about 10k used, I plan on buying another one and doing this swap. Kudos to you for taking on such a fun project

wow can't get more brave than by doing that to a brand new car. You should drive by your dealership and freak them out. I have a feeling once these cars get in the $10k range used there are going to be a ton of them swapped. Almost like Subaru and Toyota chose to make them this way.

Great thread, I'm sure this will shut up a lot of people.

What Arduino are you using? Are you by any means worried of it being affected by extreme temperatures? I've had Arduino freeze on me at colder temperatures.

I'd love to see the code you're using, i have completely no idea how canbuss works with arduino or even what type of libraries (Assuming they are used) would be used. Could you share any links of references? Thanks!

I know people will be amazed at the price point of this build, but seeing an Arduino with canbuss is the most amazing aspect of this build...

Great job 👍👍.. I'm surprised you didn't find a 2013 for cheap? In my area you can get them around 18k
