Hey guys, im looking into installing a backup camera on my brz, anyone know of any installers in the gta, i dont trust myself in installing something like this with 0 electrical skills.

Also, if any of you guys do have a backup camera, which ones do you recommend.

beat-sonic has a great setup if you have the OEM NAV head unit.

easy install, took me less than 30 mins.

Reverse cam takes almost no wiring knowledge to install...Just a little searching on body panels to remove and where to plug in the wires

I can help if you need but any futureshop or electronics install shop will do it...very simple

Really considering this because the rear defroster on this car sucks.
Lack of a rear wiper was a big oversight IMHO.

Will the BeatSonic kit work on a Canadian spec BRZ? We have a Pioneer AVIC930 for our factory headunit

How much is the unit cost and installation cost? Is it compatible with the BRZ Pioneer headunit?

I know Auto Links does great work. I've had two of my cars tinted and clear bra-ed there, but never done anything electrical there.

It was 250 for the unit and 100 for installation. It is compatible with the headunit all you need to get is the harness.

Is this do-able without the beatsonic harness? I am electronics savvy I guess. Isn't this harness $72? Seems steep to me, I'd rather do it myself if possible.

does Auto-Links have the harness or do you have to get it yourself?

how satisfied are you with their work on the install?

Autolinks suggested me to get it from ebay but I got the harness from amazon instead. Well the camera could be a bit better but I dont mind it cause it does its job. But autolinks did a good job on the install. Did not have a problem at all.
