Loud Clunk On Driver Suspension When Turning

Hey guys help! Just over a year ago, I had lowering springs installed on my stock suspension and ever since I left the shop, my driver side suspension had single loud clunk/click every time I turn the wheel to the far left.

It has finally driven me crazy and I have my whole car up in the air trying to pinpoint the sound. If my ears aren't playing any tricks, the clunk is coming from the top hat/strut tower area. I tried to tighten the 3 strut tower bolts, but that did not fix the issue.

There seems to be no sound when there is no load on the suspension (car in the air and wheel off). However, when the wheel is on or if the car is on the ground, it will clunk.

Does anyone know what can potentially be the issue or what I can try to fix this? Here is a video I took that shows the problem. Thank you!

If it was a shop that did the install, why not take it back for them to assess?

You can see that there's a small round cap in the middle of the strut mount. Remove that and see if the nut underneath is torqued down properly.

I ended up taking it to the dealer and they said they will replace the left front strut. Bringing the car in tomorrow, however do you guys think it's a good idea for them to only replace one strut? I'm reading everywhere that it's best to replace them as a pair, but I have no idea if they will agree to that. The struts have about 36k miles on them..

Up to you. 36K miles is not much. Are you paying out of packet for the Strut? In your shoes I would just replace the one strut if thats what really wrong...
