That's interesting. I wonder why they didn't just include the active sound as well.

yeah haha not sure, But it may have some regulatory thing going on. im sure that they can easily push a update to the infotainment system and allow you turn it off on the screen. will they do it? i dont think so.

So the only things mentioned in this thread that you can't do via menus and must be done by the dealer are the sound and A/C? I don't want to ask them to do a long list of stuff I could do.

I got it to work. It’s honestly pretty pointless customization wise. I changed a few AC settings and that’s it. The sound is unplugged and the rest of the settings are already accessible via the GUI screen on the car.

Okay, I'll add that. I already want them to disable A/C coming on when defrost is selected.

Why? The A/C comes on because the A/C pulls humidity out of the air.

Most of the time I don't need that. I just want a little fresh air flowing through the car without it blowing on my face or feet. Windshield vents, no heat, fan on 1 is probably the setting my HVAC spends 95% of its time in. This car lives in a dry place with moderate temperatures.
