Thanks for posting this. Also, kudos to the presenter for using his phone to record AND using it in landscape mode. I didn't understand a word he said, but I already like him.

I like the proportions on the video better than I thought I would.

Isn't that pretty much a defining quality of a hot hatch, that it is taller than a sports car?

Man.. I was just chatting with @BigFatFlip about this car the other day. So fucking cool.

And... we won't get it. What a rip.

Can't justify spending 50k on a yaris which is probably where it's going to sit in Australia no thanks.think I will stick with the 86 if that's the case. I was hoping for a fwd turbo priced in the same braket as a fiesta ST but they want to compete with the more serious hot hatches and I'd rather buy a civc type r then a 3 cylinder yaris.i don't know if this is going to work for them I don't see people spending big money on this thing in a market with plenty of vehicles with an extra cylinder. How far can you push a 3 cylinder ? I will be nervous tuning this for more power

I hear you, I don't think this thing will be a mass market range topper, more a 'halo' model built in limited numbers to get the body shell and other goodies through homologation.

Back in the ole heady days of rallying (80's and 90's) manufacturers were building runs of 5000 units to get certain models homologated for group 'A' rallying. Cars such as the M3 (E30), Ford Cosworths, Lancia, Subaru, Mitsubishi etc.. Niche market, niche product, niche price, niche buyer.. note excessive use of the word 'niche' as our American friends can't pronounce it....

Conjecture. We don't know the pricing yet.

Looks like a neat little car.

However, I still can't quite stomach the name "Gazoo Racing". What was wrong with TRD?
