Installed

Here's mine installed with my 1/2" check valve. Thanks for the Pre-sale. Can't wait for the Pre-sale for the 2nd Catch Can.

John, how important is it to run a 'check valve'? I just installed my kit a few minutes ago.

I plan to install the oil cooler kit tomorrow now that we have some nice weather down here.

question?

what are u guys using to open the catch can? I notice opening it out of the box it is on incredibly tight. 2nd there is a hex alen key hole on the bottom of the can. what is this used for?

Mines not tight at all. Bottom hex would be for draining if that's the way you want to drain. But I think opening the can would be easier.

Thanks Zoth! As mentioned, an NA vehicle will not need a check valve in-line with our can setup.

The allen key hole is a port for emptying the can. You can either drain it by removing the entire base, or by removing this plug. Additionally, we are working on a drain valve kit which will thread into this port. This will be an add-on item for the catch can in the near future.

update.

hey guys disregard; Yes it is on VERY tight and found someone with good hands to twist it. overall easy install. thanks guys will keep you guys updated on how much it catches.

Anybody notice any noise coming from the can after install? I cant tell for sure, but feel like I'm hearing some kind of noise coming from that area when the engine is under load.
