Which turbo kits work with the Perrin oil cooler?

So far all I can find is that the AVO turbo kit may work with the Perrin oil cooler. I would rather not have to get rid of my oil cooler but I am wanting to go turbo in the next few months. Haven't had too much luck with searching. I've found plenty of S/C's that work with the Perrin OC.

Just get some extended lines and move it to the side. You don't want an oil cooler sitting in front of your intercooler, but it's easy enough to just move it. I use a mishimoto with my kit, rev works made custom lines and brackets. Works great .

You are talking about moving it behind the passenger side fog light?

I wonder if it could sit behind an intercooler but in front of the radiator.

Yeah... Then you cut out the mesh below the fog light to let air in there, maybe even duct it if you feel like gettin' fancy about it.

Where does the air vent out through, after going through the oil cooler?

There is a hole behind the cooler in the fender well

This would have a pretty heavy drag penalty, and hurt cooling unless the radiator air guides were trimmed specifically to go around any FMIC piping...

It's a street car. Drag isn't much of a practical concern, and cooling is materially sufficient.

I had the same dilemma. I ended up selling the Perrin for a very slight loss and pickied up the Full Blown Oil cooler setup. I realize it's just a standard core and sandwich plate, but the bracket that it comes with makes it so much easier to mount it securely. The Perrin would of fit in front of the intercooler, but I wanted clean airflow to hit it.

For the FBM cooler, I made an exhaust opening in the fender well and it makes a noticeable difference in cooling ability

Thanks for the info. Selling it is going to be hard out here in Guam. I think I will just see what I can do as far as trying to find somewhere to mount it that won't block the airflow to the intercooler. I may see if I can fit it between the radiator and FMIC.

@jamesm im contemplating alot about this now as well. Im leaning towards that location and played with the idea of making a wet carbon duct, but my skills are lacking. Now im thinking of a thermostatically controlled 6 or so inch fan attached to the cooler. I dont have all my parts yet only a mishi 19 row core and a perrin sandwich adapter. If you could, anyway you can send me the fitting angles and line length to save me from having to take my brand new just painted bumper cover off again to measure everything?
