Ease of use. That is the one thing making me lean towards the traeger. The Bradley has lots of cleaning each time, and the other issue is you really can't keep it on the deck, even with a cover. You really have to put it away somewhere. I just wish the Traeger went lower. smoking cheese and lox is great.

I've never dry aged myself, but have had many a dry aged ribeye. The Albertsons Marketplace store here has the most amazing meat counter I've ever seen. They have a dry aging meat locker thing, about the size of a few refrigerators, where you can see the meat at different stages of aging. Delicious.

Yep. Good smokers make bad grills, and good grills make bad smokers.

a couple customers have put things on smokers when i'm over doing work.

the 2 things i learned about smokers is that they're just lucky it was still there when i left, and i don't have the will power to smell that all day and not touch it.

I've just ordered some KW V3 for the Suzuki.
I have no chance of justifying this with the wife.

Trying to sleep. Need to wake up around 4am because I have an early flight to Denver at 6:30am.

Really wishing I hadn't done that since I can't even check into my hotel till 4pm. That was a total bone-headed decision even if it saved me like $200.

Friday is the day though!

Edit: some of that savings went to this Lyft ride!! I didn't realize how much further away from the airport I live since moving earlier this year. The fare is easily 3x as much as it used to be.

The following is based on FUD and not an objective view on the matter.
I have been to Hong Kong 4 times with the wife and have thoroughly enjoyed our visits there but even if Covid did not exist we have removed all of China from our travel destinations. Two reasons: I don't like China's behavior atm and I don't want to be subject to any meeting with officials regarding the medication I'm carrying. One has no rights.
Paranoid? Perhaps but I don't want to find out for sure.

I visited Hong Kong several times before it reverted back to China in 1997. It was a fascinating place, and I really enjoyed my time there.

I have had no interest in going back after 1997. Like you, too much FUD at entering Chinese territory, and too many other places to visit if I want to travel internationally.

It's a safety issue.
Suspension is worn out and needs replacement.

Wait a sec. The suspension wore out on a new car on the drive home? I'm not sure I could sell that.

The road was really, really rough?
You hit a squirrel (ummmm... wallaby?) and damaged it?
A gang of vandals slipped under the car while you were having lunch and broke it?
You saved money by special ordering it without suspension?
