If I'm ever at fault, no way do I want to treat whomever I messed up that badly.

Geice & Progressive tried to screw me twice.

One wreck, I got a bad whiplash & need my neck adjust. Went to chiropractor to get it fixed. Geico called me saying how I shouldn’t be needing it. Told that lady “If you get jackknife by a car that’s going well over 40mph from your blind spot, you don’t get whiplash? Cuz if you didn’t, I call that BS! I’ll hire lawyer, so call him instead of me.” & I did hire a lawyer & he took care of everything & didn’t pay anything.

With BRZ, I had progressive & I got rear ended twice. Second time, progressive told me they won’t fix it cuz shop I always go to never fixed the first rear end. There were photos to prove that they were different wreck, but in the end they sent me the letter stating they will not fix it. Shop that I’ve been over over a decade all suddenly screw me over? Highly doubt it… especially it’s been owned by my wife’s uncle,
so I call the other insurance to get it fixed (not my fault wreck). Other insurance asked why I didn’t want to go through my insurance to take care of it, I replied saying I didn’t want them getting my money more than as is. Other insurances accepted & paid for it.

Front mudflaps looks fine w 12”x15”… but rear looks weird…

They’re both have ground clearance of 5.5”… but visually near looks lower than the fronts. To resolve this issue, I’ve ordered 12”x19” to see if it looks better for the rear. I’ll find out later.

As for the brackets, I had a spare aluminum sheet which not been used for anything, so using that to make the brackets. Cut up the cardboard again & designed the brackets.

Front brackets looks good… but the rear, I’ve overthink & made it complicated than it need to be. I’ll be redesigning to making it simple “H” shape instead.
Going to be a unique looking ride at the very least! What color for the mudflaps?

Ya know, ichitaka05, I REALLY don't think those cardboard mudflaps are going to hold up very well in wet weather -

Insurance is always going to be a YMMV subject. I had shit luck with allstate. Same with my parents after allstate fought a whiplash claim when they were rear ended at speed. A close friend of mine had farmers and was rear ended at a stoplight and had to sue them because they stopped paying for her therapy from that accident and where questioning if the injury was actually caused by it. Our company president had state farm and had someone drive into the side of his suv on the freeway causing it to roll several times. He fought to get his medical paid on that one for years. Just a couple years ago he got hit at a stoplight by a doordash driver with no insurance in a borrowed car and tore a ligament in his shoulder, took a year of fighting them again to get that surgery paid for.

I had good luck with progressive on a hit and run on my rig. Homesite, their home insurance branch, dropped me without notice and no chance for resolution because my tenant had a dog I forgot to put on the policy.

TL-DR but those are going to fall apart as soon as it rains. Should make them out of rubber or something.
