Not the headliner - behind the display in the car (right edge it sounds like).

It’s happening about 20% of the time, usually after the car is nice and warmed up.

The timing (only 20% of the time, and after the car is warmed up), and relative location sounds very similar to mine. I haven’t been able to track it down yet but it definitely seems mechanical to me.

Is the airbag light coming on then going off a cause for concern? When starting the car today I let go of the button a bit too quick or double-pressed and the car only cranked once. After I started the airbag warning light came on "see owners manual." However turning the car off and on twice made it go away...

I might have had my phone on the passenger seat during this, so wondering if that could have been the cause.

I agree on the mechanical, if it was the speaker vibrating I feel like it would happen more often. Maybe there’s some part of the wire harness that isn’t taped down or in a precarious position and whenever the car warms up the plastic is malleable enough to let them vibrate. Hard to figure out, I don’t want to take it in because I don’t want them removing the dash and introducing a whole host of other problems - this is livable for now

Did you refill your blinker fluid? Not sure that a fix was available for the blinkers, pretty sure that's just how it is, but hey I could also be completely wrong lol it happens.

I can hear this more clearly inside the car rather than outside.

If it's not the same sound, especially if yours is more audible with the hood raised, it might just be the high pressure fuel pump. I think that's pretty common from what I've been reading.

yea, it sounds like it's coming from the high pressure fuel pump, I guess the issue is still unfixed, even in the new gen

I've had my Apple CarPlay, while using GPS apps (Google Maps or Waze), randomly boot me out, causing me to lose GPS. I had to reach back to unplug/plug back in the USB while driving, not great!

There is no issue. HPFPs make noise. They are devices made to solve a complicated problem and it took some manufacturers a while to make them reliable. Some are louder than other based on their design or tolerances within an individual unit. It does not impact performance or longevity.

Thankfully have not had most of these issues yet knock on wood, haven't even noticed the squeaking seats. However my infotainment system is kind of spotty in regards to recognizing my phone for carplay, just this morning my cord would not recognize my phone even after rebooting my phone/headunit.

Apple cord or 3rd party? Apple cord is the most reliable for me.

That is exactly what my FRS did when I got some bad gas so I tend to agree with the comments on Youtube in that is where the investigation should start. By the comments it would appear that the dealer is starting to just throw parts at it without looking at the basics first.

Anyone gets a sloppy gear when in turn? I am having trouble changing from 3rd to 2nd during quick turns.. Did not have this problem on gen1. If someone in the area that has a gen2 can compare, I would appreciate. It may be a characteristic that I need to get used to, or find a solution.

Very used to MT, just had 1 AT vehicle in my life. Ran a bunch of vehicle testing, including semis…
