Same with my old Talon. They were very rare around here and nobody ever knew what the hell it was.

i'm compounding things by putting a ranger emblem on the back.

and the other day driving by land rover dealer, it just struck me that a land rover emblem ought to fit on the front indentation, so i've got one of those on order...

Drove my moms '97 4runner v6 with 60k miles today. Had 2 people ask if it was for sale. I hate driving it. I don't like that era toyotas. Like driving an aluminum can.

I installed a Ring Pro 2 for my mom today. A bit bigger job than anticipated. I had to change out the 1956 10v transformer, but got it all working. Mom is happy. Yay!

I noticed my dad's work bench has my first hammer in the wall. Haven't seen this hammer since I was like 4. Wow.

great time to sell. i'd love to have one, but right now no way i can swing the $10-20k they're worth... they last forever.

hopefully you got the 30VA 16v transformer instead of the standard 15VA/16v. have had a number of return calls for customers that install a ring doorbell on the standard 15VA versions, it blows the transformer out in a few weeks.

we went round-n-round with ring customer service for a few months after the first few installs, where we had to repeatedly replace the standard 15VA transformer, and suddenly they were telling us like this was common knowledge that the increased capacity transformer is required, and is listed in the install manual, which it's not.
