Here's what I hate...and it's similar to not wanting to get out of that warm shower, into the cold of reality.

After getting settled into driving, which in any car takes a few minutes to an hour, then the focused fun really begins. Drive for two or three hours, usually just wandering, then time to go home. Gotta get out of the car....leave that wonderful, fantastic driving experience in my FRS.

This car fits like a glove, don't wanna take the gloves off, ever !

Hope to soon take a road trip...6k miles or so. Gotta test out, is it true this is not a good freeway cruiser ? I think they're incorrect in that.

The longest trip I've had so far was this past summer when I drove to 86expo from Cleveland. Biggest complaint was that my lower back was just a wee bit tight after a nine-hour road trip (there were a few stops, as is normal). For me, I can say that this car is not a bad Grand Tourer.

After two years of ownership, I think the only things that bug me is as I earlier stated, the analog speedo is useless, thank goodness the digital functions ok. The paint is soft. And I really wish there were folding assist handles.
And the service center didn't fix the known issues of passenger window switch and dipping idle because they couldn't reproduce the problem so I've lived with it all this time.

HunterGreene,

Thanks so much.
I'd guess you are tall.
I'm just 5'7", and these seats much better than my Mustang.
In videos I've watched they state this car possibly noisy for road trips as well. It seems so far, to have just slightly more wind noise than Mustang, and freeways are usually smooth, so we'll see.

Spend 14hours a week on the highway and ya it is louder then some but by no means horrid.
Only time I would complain about noise is when I get just the wrong combo of rough pavement, my TRD exhaust note and music with a heavy bass line. When these things align just a certain way and start to resonate the results are an ear splitting wail that is almost painful!

^^ lol. I'm ~15 hours a week on the highway too, unfortunately a bunch of it is concrete and old NYC beater pavement so yeah, painful is about right. I actually have a second set of eq controls programmed for those sections of road. Thankfully 30 of the 38 miles of open road have been repaved in the last 12 months with smooth, quiet asphalt and that final 8 is in great shape and only about 12 miles is nasty concrete.

When I get new 8 month tires next year quiet will be towards the top of the list in importance, I already know the snows are going to be tough to live with.

Actually though my snows are much louder they don't seem to hit the same frequencies so I don't get the resonance as often.

I hate that it's not a hatchback, when I have to clean the inside back window, but only then! On the flipside, its very amusing for anyone watching when I do it.

Hatchback raises the CG and decreases longitudinal stiffness.

Yea, I know that's why I only want it while cleaning the glass. Maybe a transformer kinda thing.

I would take the slight performance loss for a nice hatchback.
