N/A build pros and cons...
i have built my car to the point where i like it as is but knowing me ill want more power. i would like to stay naturally aspirated and keep the car practical. any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
my current mods are: intake cat back exhaust billet power blocks stage 1 tune from oft crank pulley. what would be the pros and cons of a nice N/A street build |

If you have to ask, you shouldn't be "building" an NA setup.
Pros - slightly more power than stock - longevity if built right Cons - so expensive your mind will explode - you will ask your self why you spent all that money for such little power - forced induction guys will put you to shame - only knowing how to drive in a straight line (bad joke? Lol) NA build and street usually don't exist in the same realm. If you want more power I suggest you start by getting a proper dyno tune instead of running on a basemap. |

Well for a practical daily I'm not looking to build it to be a speed demon. I have my daughter to put in the car. So I need to keep it n/a for a while or until I get a spare block n build a strong engine.

I plan on getting a dyno tune after I get myself an exhaust manifold and change to another exhaust that will look cleaner then the j2 quad tip

If you want power, you should have gotten header instead of pulley and intake.

Sounds like you want to be fully bolted and not have an NA "build".

- get the new fluidampr pully - get e85/flexfuel harness kit - get dyno tune - get LW flywheel - get carbon fiber driveshaft - exchange rear gear I also suggest going to a track day. It lets you understand and communicate with the car better. Maybe you won't need to be fully bolted. |

Only know how to drive in a straight line is typically saved foot forced induction cars that have little suspension and braking mods. Our brakes barely handle stock power let alone boost.
All depends on goals. Imp cooling/brakes/suspension first. But I only have 6 hpde days in so far. I've iced 3 sets of brake pads.

I upgraded to EBC brakes and rotors changed to the wrx 4piston calipers in the front. I stop on a dime. My suspension is coilovers swaybars strut bars and various components. The list of stuff done so far is posted in my garage with the photos.
