Thanks Steve. I sent them a copy of the stock file and a copy of a file that would load on. The only difference is when they were created. We'll see what they come up with!

Doing either will essentially divorce your OFT from your car and make it unusable.
...unless your car won't take the .ori file any more...then? Help??

Then you'll get the privilege of paying to send your tablet back to be serviced.

The oft checks the vin number in the ecu against the vin number in the storred original file in the oft they must match else oft will not write a rom.

sometimes the dealer forgets to write in the vin number to the new ecu or they get it wrong like zero instread of letter o then oft will think it a different car.

if dealer updates your rom to new calid oft will still write but you wont be able to read in the new calid rom so you get stuck on old calid, its not a big drama as oft tuned roms are based on latest calid compatable with your car anyway eg the 700C tuned roms are actually B01C roms inside.

My car didn't go to dealer but stopped being able to load .ori file. something about the updates with OFT made it think it was a different car.

Still waiting on Shiv and them to let me know what's up.

Almost a month has gone by and the only response from OpenFlash Tech is that they need me to send them the stock file and one that works.....which I did already 10 days before and then did again last month......

Customer service sure is getting sad these days.

I'm currently having the same issue as OP but I just got my OFT and just read my stock ecu on the tablet.
My tablet came without tunes from factory nor did they get saved automatically when I read my stock ecu.
So I used OFM to get the OTS tune files corresponding to my CaliD and when I try to load these tunes onto my car I get the same error message of mismatching ecu and then the other error right after too.
