They did not charge me for the initial check although I tipped the alignment tech extra afterwards.

I may have to ask them. Im more or less hoping I could compare/measure up to the stock dimensions and just install them exactly as the stock ones measure up. Not messing with my current alignment settings which are just fine.

Door Hinges .75lbs each

Wish I could find someone to make them out of aluminum for me since I have CF Doors

I did drill a big hole out of one of them. Only lost .2oz left the rest of them alone

Gutted lights and fogged the inside of the lenses black, gutted the e-brake shoes, brackets, cables, etc. Ditched the hood latch stuff. Trimming down the splitter frame some for a lighter strategy. Pulled the calipers for a rebuild.

Up next - trim dash, new airdam and a fresh splitter. Then build a ballast box so I can add just enough weight back, but where I want it to be

Any pics of your dash brace? I attempted this last year and ended up taking too much off the "pole" that runs across, making it too easy to bend.

Im guessing leave the pole alone and take some of the steel around the steering column attachment area?

Wish I could delete my ebrake, But I park on a steep hill. I guess I could keep a wheel chock with me

I forgot the first few times I backed out of the garage and wanted to leave the car running before pulling on the trailer. A size 11 Hoka running shoe placed just under the door sill stopped it from rolling away till I could grab a chunk of 2x 12 haha!

Borrowed some scales from a friend. will weight it tonight and get a feelz for how much ballast I'll need to run TT5. Then weld up a ballast box accordingly

Posted this in my build thread but Ill add it here since its about weight.

Swiss cheesed all the steel up front (not connect to suspension)
-Fender rails, Headlight buckets, Radiator/Hood T

Only got out a 1lb though after a lot of drilling.

Before

After

Also took off the 2 black covers for the airbag sensors and just mounted the sensor. My airbags are gone so eventually I will take out the wiring.
Removed bracket for outside temp sensor and pushed it into radiator slot
And went down to one horn that saved 1.25lb

I drilled 7 holes, and cut 4 of the brackets off that aren't holding anything anymore.
