good job, and thanks for sharing the info, I already have my kit just installed the fuel pump already it wasn't difficult but its taller than the factory pump. however I added some clips to get it fit together with the filter and the plastic cover. now am waiting for the cable so I can put everything together and start installation.
Q: do you notice any heat issue? why do you need to upgrade your radiator? what is the average temp where you are located? I am just concerne cuz of summer, it reach 50 C here in June and July.

It was about 70 F on Sunday, and I never noticed the temp gauge creep up. It held temp just fine parked at idle with the two electric fans blowing as well. We can easily get over 100 F here in the summer.

50 C is over 120 F, FYI

@Alhammadi, dude, you live is Qatar! I would get a larger radiator if I left the car stock. I spent about 7 months in that part of the world a few years ago. I still remember being in a Carrefour and seeing down filled winter jackets. I asked the girl working that section why they had them and she told me the winters get cold there. o_O I asked how cold it got and she told me "It got down to 17 degrees last year." She was surprised when I didn't think that was cold... That area is WAY too hot for me. :happy0180:

This, plus I have the stock exhaust. It currently sounds and drives like an OEM turbo setup would as far as noise. I personally hate the sound of an open dump tube and all that hot exhaust gas exiting in the engine compartment.

Felt your frustration as I was reading it. Been there!

Nothing more frustrating when you hear that "every other setup is running fine"!

Great write up. It really highlights to us all how easily something that should be fairly straight forward can turn into a mission.

The ECU was very frustrating to figure out but Merv from Ecutek and I were able to solve the issue for Chris and get the car running.

I'm glad Chris will finally gets to enjoy the kit.

I had absolutely no problems flashing the Ecu. Don't think we can firm the issue is gone until Chris flashes it again.

I agree with you on the recirc dump. Is there any option with this kit to recirculate the BOV also?

Edit: BTW, Nice write-up!

OMG dude, I feel your pain. I have to say it sounds to me like Full Blown did NOT have their shit together. No way in hell I would sell a kit this involved without install instruction, an installation video, and an FAQ. The whole BOV spring issue is ridiculous. As far as the ecu flash goes.. I have flashed mine over 40 times now with out issues like yours and I do not think your problem was voltage or the cable... more a driver stability issue. Could be a canbuss issue though and if that is the case i would suspect it will always be an issue.

You sir, have an amazing amount of patience and for that, I bow to you.. Namaste.

I can't even begin to tell you how many times ive programmed one of these ecus or how many customers i have - what I can tell you is this is the very first time I had a customer with a ecu problem like this.

Something in his car is pissing the ecu or the canbus off.

Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this for him.
