Cheaper price probably means more drivers, therefore more crowded tracks, maybe?

Not really. Can still only have something like 30 cars on at once, so that doesn't change at all.

But if 60 drivers show with 2 groups = 30
With 3 groups then only 20 on the track at once.

Likely though, it will allow 1/3 more drivers to sign up (i.e. 90 drivers) which helps drive the price down.

We'll see how it goes this year.

If going with three groups puts less cars on the track in each session I can see that as a positive. Less traffic is always a good thing.

20 min on track at a time is going to leave little time for good laps though and it will mean less track time per track day. I don't know if I like these changes

There's pros and cons to both.
With 3 groups, the traffic is more consistent - less frustration, but you give up 10 minutes of driving per session which kind of sucks. But it's cheaper.
I can't say I have a big preference either way.

btw Kenny, which short shifter do you have?

Don't assume we're going to 20 min sessions, we could still have 30 minutes on track, but less sessions.

I don't know if we're doing either format, just thought I'd throw it out there.
Maybe we should ask on MCO.org forums.
