Or the rear vents on the Lexus RC - that's what first came to my mind when I saw the new pics this morning.

I feel the need to voice my opinion on this one.

I am intrigued with the new lights, both the headlights and tails. I would like to see them IRL before I make a final judgment. The good news is it looks like they kept the same shape so if we like them we can retrofit them into our cars!

Overall, I'm not a huge fan of the styling. When I saw the picture of the steering wheel, I cringed. The blank steering wheel was the epitome of what this car stood for! I am jealous of the new interior stitching. Red and black is kind of a played out color combo in my opinion and it really pigeon-holed owners into interior colors unless you didn't mind clashing or had the money to completely redo all of everything.

Interested in taking one for a test drive when they are released to see how the ride has been adjusted. Overall, I'm happy I didn't wait for the refresh. The 86 badging miscellaneously throughout is a nice touch.

You bet! It is already the 42th most commented thread in the FRS subforum. 2 spots below the 2011 first car spy shots thread.

Price? Now to start speculating on the "Release" model. First-gen is the winner in looks so far. I was expecting to have some form of Lexus' hideous front end stuck on.

Fast and Furious is responsible for that crap. I would have made all the edges rounder. Now the back is a bit out of place, to go with the front.

I agree. My current car is a stock 99 Eclipse - one of the curviest and sexiest cars ever made IMO. All these lines and shapes and sharp edges make it look way too busy! As the others said, I wouldn't be surprised if they planned on people adding a NOS button to the steering wheel now. "There's your power upgrade."

Why would you feel the need to trade?

Alright. I can get over that front bumper. It looks pretty bad but I can deal with it because once inside you don't have to look at it. Except that steering wheel. You have to look at that the entire time. Why couldn't they just base it off the SFR steering wheel... Just take a existing FRS steering wheel and glue a iPod shuffle into it for your music controls.

Are there that many people who care what someone else thinks? Five HP and crappier plastic? I'll happily keep my "old" car.
