It's quite nice to look at, I think. Pity it's a Nissan.

Pretty much sums up the three things I could not tolerate on them. The bulbous rear, those overdone taillights and those god awful chrome door handle monstrosities.

I believe it might be 444hp. Nissan has been chasing Ford for bang for buck since 2003.

2003 350Z 287hp
2003 Mustang GT 260hp

2009 370Z 332hp
2009 Mustang GT 300hp

Ford always ends up 2-3 years later coming back in the lead for bang for buck. I believe the Z might be 444hp/3300lbs so the power to weight ratio makes it more favorable and don't be surprised if the Z undercuts Ford's price of $35,800 by at least $1000 for a Z base. Nissan wants the Z to be bang for buck again.

Do we like the unpainted roof? It changes the size and shape of the rear to have it not painted.

Funny...

I've owned both a 1969 Mach 1 and a 280Z, and for some reason the back view with the unpainted roof reads more as Mustang than Z. Not sure why, and not a bad thing...

Frankly, what I think is funny is the auto knobs that look like manual shifters. My first car in 1996 was a hand-me-down, 61' Plymouth Valiant with a push-button automatic. It seems like a column mounted shifter or something simply like this is all that is needed. Why waste space with a big shifter, I always thought?

I like the two-tone look.

Now just waiting for the after-market to fix the front bumper. *Shudder intensifies*
