If you still need these, I recommend stopping at Canadian Tire and pick up the 4 inch exhaust tips off the shelf there.

I wanted the JDM tips, but at $200 new, I couldn't justify the cost!
So, I went down to my local auto parts store and found these for $19 each. Got a can of Mothers polish while I was at it and polished my stock exhaust to "match". I am happy with the look now.

I have a 2013 and hate the cheap looking oval tips. I may do something similar to what you did.
