I love my FR-S but I would never have paid $30K for it when new.

Now to answer your question...

Pros:
  • Comes in Red.
  • Looks fast sitting still...looks faster slightly sideways in a curve...
  • Great gas mileage when left stock.
  • Lots of opportunity to improve if you want to play with it.
  • Has enough room for an LS swap if you blow the 4banger.
  • Simple, uncomplicated design and features.
  • Has 4 seats, 3 of which are useable.
  • It can carry serious amounts of stuff for a car this size.
  • Keeps an old guy flexible just getting in and out of it.
  • The aftermarket. For a low volume car, its pretty well covered.
Cons:
  • Its not a C7 Corvette
  • Its built like it is, a $25K car, so not enough insulation to keep you from hearing the creaks and rattles all cars have but others cover up.
  • The paint. My hood will need a respray within 12 to 24 months.
  • The warranty. It's too short for a modern day car
  • The dealers. At least in my area they all suck.
  • Did not come in a Targa top
  • Did not come with louvers and the ones available are stupid expensive.

Buy it if you care how you feel when you drive. Don't buy it if you care how others feel when you drive.

Trying to convince my wife that just looking isn't infidelity.

I would be upset if you did. They would be coming from some random address in Canada so obviously I am just the victim of some sort of scam.

Well we will wait and see what she thinks when the actual brides start to show up at your door!

d-d-derailed!

It drives how a car should not how it should look.
