How to get the most horsepower per dollar!

OK, I've seen this thread a lot, and I thought it was time to weigh in with a blanket answer.

Honestly, and I know this sounds jerk-ish, but... Do your own research. All the info is here! Every vendor has their product up, with dyno plots, and a 60+pg thread blabbing on and on about every possible detail, advantage and disadvantage.

It's your money, and you worked hard for it. Why would you let us spend it for you? You already know the best upgrade to lower your lap times is tires, and the best one to up your horsepower is a tune. Everything else is kind of subjective, and you have to choose for yourself. That way, if you don't like what you bought, you can't blame us

But seriously, the info is everywhere. Just look for it. Choosing your parts is half the fun anyway because then you feel like you accomplished something!

When you're done with your soap box, can I have it?

I think he is trying to put an end to the "how do I get more power for cheap" threads. His oversight was thinking that those people use the Search function before they post. Unfortunately they don't so they will never find this post anyways.

"Woah. This is really insightful." Said no one ever on a forum.

Yeah OP, this is a good thread and all, but no one will actually read this and take your advice.

If your tired of threads like this in general forum like or comment on the thread I linked. It is a site suggestion to add a newbie forum where questions like this dont have to be dealt with by the general pop that doesn't want to.

I read the post, you read the post.
So, how is it not useful? It's not going to be any better with people posting crap like what your posted, now, like my post also.

This adds the most HP per buck. At least 30, if not more.
The FLABS (Forward Looking Angry Bird System) is the best upgrade you can make.

Buy the most expensive parts. Guarantee some form of win. Gold plated rims help also.
