Definitely need to double clutch when the car is cold. Takes a few miles for everything to warm up.
These cars definitely have some Dr Jeckly and Mr Hyde thing going. Wonder how the new models compare

Just to throw in my 1.5 cent's worth. With clutch pedal fully depressed, there should be absolutely no drag on the clutch surfaces. Otherwise, it would grind every you put the car in reverse. |

I am talking about rev matching but you are right. I am mistaking the overall smoothness of the process vs. getting the shifter in the gate. I really don't have an issue with my car unless it starts to get under 40F and that is just for the first shift or so.
