FRS: 6-pin to 8-pin headlight harness

This harness was made by @DeOppressorLiber

Made and shipped in a timely manner. Big thanks!

Last chance to get it right. Very helpful instructions.

Here's the harness. Very simple, but well made. A good length in-my-opinion. Not too long, not too short. Wires aren't color coded, so it might be a little tedious to fix if any of them ever go bad, but this is highly unlikely.

6-pin side that connects to the FR-S headlight harness. Fits one way only, so it's pretty self explanatory.

8-pin side to plug into the headlight assembly. Once again, well crafted and sturdy.

First contact made! Fits snug.

Easy as pie.

LED strip on at all times. Isn't that what we all want?

Works as intended.

Headlights installed with harness.

Working as intended!

Once again, thanks to @DeOppressorLiber. Shoot him a PM if you want the hook ups!

Anymore in stock? Tried installing the spyder led headlights into my brz. Their 6 pin connector won't fit my 8 pin connector from the car. Would this solve me problem?

so is the led strip at full brightness when your headlights are on?

and does the led strip light up when you turn on your parking lights with hand brake up?

I am using this harness on my 10 Series Headlamps.

here's how they work:

OFF: - All lights off, (NO DRL function - lights off regardless of parking brake position)

Parking: LED strip on High (they are on reguardless of parking brake position)

Low Beam: LED strip on High + Low Beam HID

High Beam: LED strip on High + Activates Solenoid for High Beam HID

Note: There is no low power setting for the LED strip when the headlamps are on. They can be pretty bright at night/cause glare.

The harnesses are AFAIK used for Base 6 pin connector to 8 pin connectors for either the 10series/Monograms headlights or JDM/EUDM headlights. Not sure if he makes a harness for 8 Pin to 8 Pin since in your info it says you drive a Monogram edition.

My DIY wiring guide (repining isn't that hard, but it means you'll need the BRZ harness):
