So yeah, def $10k will sell fast. $13k might take a bit, but still sell.
I used to be into that whole rock crawling scene and still keep an eye out for things. This gen of 4runner with the 3.4 is something I have been considering for myself but they are very expensive.

Blowing up an engine 150 miles from home at a track day is nothing compared to breaking a birf joint 20 miles from civilization

Maybe 12K was too high, 10K at least. If it was a manual 12K would not be out of the question. Those 3.4 4x4 are highly desirable manual or automatic.

It is AT. I remember when my mom got rid of her last Honda and bought the Toyota she said she was tired of shifting, lol.

Sorry about pic. Best I could do in the garage.
A low mileage Cali car of that vintage is listed for almost $30K at Carfax. There's a range of prices depending on mileage and location. That one should get top dollar, no question.

https://www.carfax.com/Used-1997-Toyota-4Runner_z15582

4Runner is usually at the top of resale value of any vehicle in the US. That's partly why new ones are essentially sold out nationwide. In my (and your) region, there are only 16 new 4Runners in dealer stock spread between 70 dealers in five states and those just arrived this week so will be gone by now.

The former industry standard dealer stock level is a 60 days supply of each series. 4Runner is running at ½ days supply, total Toyota car and truck inventory nationwide is four days supply. Of course much of that is due to the chip shortage but like I've said here before, this is the time to sell your used anything, especially SUV or pickup.

IMO, if it's accident free, one owner with service records, recalls completed, tires under five years old, I'd ask $20K and take $17K-$18K. Get it detailed in and out, oil, air and filter change with Toyota parts, advertise on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace in the Bay Area and it'll be gone in days.

Hers is stock, a big plus that offsets the lower trim SR5 model.

Yea, my mom is a bit of a neat freak, and covers everything. It has a dash mat and seat covers since day one, and has spent every day of its life in the garage. It is like new.

Just received some seriously awesome potential news from one of the breeders I reached out to earlier this year.

I'll say more once things go since I need to make sure it's the right situation and stuff.

The big question is do I sell the BRZ or not? I have gone from yes, I will sell it to no, I won't and back again so many times. What I find a little interesting is my lack of ability to reach a decision.

Emotion and rationale are having a discussion and neither side is winning.
it's a bigger/taller 86. the interior is almost laid out the same. i think you're just itchy for something new.

Water spray cooling I think would be good for low pressure track car because one can adjust the boost pressure when the spray activates. My impression of the CO2 spray is for high power/high pressure monsters. Max power, drag car type cars.

i keep thinking about adding a windshield washer nozzle and tank in front of the radiator for whenever temps are a touch higher than i'd prefer. just for fun.

Interesting, I’ve heard of sun melting the turf before, but never heard of glass reflecting the sun burning the turf.
