This kit was on my radar for a long time but I've always wanted an SC (have owned turbos in the past but never SC) but I'm glad to see folks looking into this option. Harry of @WORKS has been very helpful, answering all my questions etc and even offering a tour of the shop and have a look at the shop car. Looking forward to what this kit can do on flexfuel.

What is the difference with Stage 2?
Because I watched a dyno of an FR-S with the Stage 1 CARB kit last year and it made around the same power as your Stage 2 kit. From the owner: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=127 And just because, here's the video and pic i took of his graph on the computer: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-4OwzWe-hs"] 1 [/ame] *I take that back...just remembered that the owner of the Stage 1 was using flex fuel to get those numbers on the dynapack Last edited by Crazypinoy9; 03-08-2016 at 07:09 PM. |

while I like the idea of a CARB turbo, it makes less than what I've seen some people make with simple bolt-ons and E85. That dynapack reads high too so that means you're under 200whp for $6800....
If mine wasn't already turbo'd then this would make me want the JR SC a lot more |

guys, keep in mind different dyno's will read VASTLY different from other dynos, or even the readings from the day before(weather etc).
Tough to "compare" different dynos. Best thing you can really do is a before/after turbo on the same dyno. Also, there is no way boltons+e85 is faster than a turbo'd car...I'd like to see a baseline chart from an n/a frs on that dyno. |

lol just because it's got a turbo doesn't instantly translate to being faster. And don't worry, i have the graph and video of the dynapack run of an FRS that had only intake, header, catback exhaust with e85 and hit around 220hp...i'll find it
*here you go...i believe it was this guy's car... **for anyone that was there with me, you'll remember that the far left bay was used for FI runs only and the right bay was used for NA. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q33iu9lH1NE"]DSC0238 - YouTube[/ame] |

I believe they have a baseline chart and after install chart on their post. I copied and post it here. It does state that they have WORKS air filter, front pipe, mid pipe and axle back. Their baseline dyno should not be much different from mine, I regret not getting the baseline dyno run.

Still doing research and looking for someone local to work on a flex fuel kit and tune with this turbo kit. All I'm asking for is to stay in the 250-300 whp mark and I'm happy. But like I said, my butt dyno tells me its more than 210 whp. Been in cars around the same power range and doesn't seem as fast or fun to drive.
I know this car is not made for drag racing but I will probably hit the drag strip soon just to see what it can do on 0-60 and 1/4 mile run. There is a drag strip in town and why not, it will be fun. Currently still have the stock rims, with Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 tires. |

Those are some rough torque and power curves.
