@Mooseknuckle44, that sounds just right.

If I did this I would have to be back to Dahlonega in less than one tank of gas. I only have an e85 tune.

I'm sure you can find E85 somewhere along the way. I can't imagine there'd be none. BUT. Unless you're only getting like 16 mpg's you should be fine.

For our deals gap trip. We left that morning at 6:45. Arrived there at 11:45. Rode the tail, hellbender, and skyway, left at 7. And was in bed by 10. It can be done in 1 day. And took 3 tanks of gas. Would have been 2(1 there and 1 back) but...we had too much driving the passes.

Wish I could join ya'll, but it's not in the finances again this soon.

Yup, the meet at the Toyota dealership is supposedly going to have a pretty decent turnout of Toyota, Scion, and Lexus cars.

yeah, but.......

[ame]http://youtu.be/SZFd-OTHPZY[/ame]

I know we don't drive Z's but a car enthusiast is a car enthusiast.

I know it's a long way for a day trip. But since the initial day chosen was Saturday the 17th, that's the day I got permission for. It was actually painless with little begging. My intention is fully to ride up 129 all the way up there, check out the event, drive the dragon, and come home.

Any and all that wanna cruise up there with me is more than welcome.
