I've seen several setup similar to mine here that goes everywhere from 181WHP to 189WHP.

I may have 180whp it is not impossible but if my car accelerate faster or equal to your car that have 210WHP on paper Houston we have a problem...

Like I said I do the 0-190KMH in about 22 seconds and on your video you are clearly doing it in 23 seconds. Even if I was driving your car and shifting faster than you I could save about 1 or 2 seconds only for the 0-190 run.

I'm not sure what to tell you then. Ive raced butang and he had full exhaust and stage 2 tune. It was destruction....

You will be faster with the esc that is for sure. Especially considering you are at sea level.

Well for your defense, I spended about 3.5K to get there and your setup cost 2K and you have the same power level.

What people are really paying for is to go from 120 to 180 ft pound of torque in the dip. The 30 HP on the top end is the icing on the cake!

I just had to post a little piece on the arguament between 5.5 & 6.5 seconds in 0-60. Back a few years ago, I had a cute "Charlies Angels", Mustang II, 4.9L, V-8 4spd. manual car. It started at about 8.5 seconds in this run, and after a set of 1968 cylinder heads (9.7:1 vs 8.2:1), a compu. cam, matching 4bbl. Holley and intake, plus a dual exhaust system with a cross-over... It would do the 0-60 in around 6 seconds, unless you did a heat-up burn out first, then it would drop to the low 5 second range.

I have to gush a little over the FRS doing this kind of performance, with a 2.0L engine, and a few mods, or a mild amount of boost! This is phenomenal, and it sounds great doing it too! Now the Mustang also had torque. lots of it pushing around about 2700lbs, and that was a big part of what made it fun to drive. Peeling rubber off the line is always a nervous proposition, but rolling the tach out in a freeway merge, or dusting off a minivan to get to your lane, is much more like regular daily fun. Sounds to me like the ESC route is a pretty neat way to get there.

Quick question regarding launch control and having full boost while the valve is fluttering. How difficult would it be to wire in a switch to keep the charger from spooling while holding at the desired rpm and then just let go when you would launch?

People have already talked about this a simple switch on the clutch would work.

Problem is unless you have better wider tires you will just spin to redline.... But I guess that's everyone's problem with more power.

Actually I just remembered something. Depending on the type of lc used you don't have to do anything. With brz edit I have a limiter set at 4500...I go to 85percent throttle (right before the sc switch engages). It bounces of that and I let the clutch out. As soon as I let the clutch out I go 100 percent throttle.

Remember 85 percent physical throttle is really 100 percent to the ecu.

Good point, I guess every time i'm messing around with the lc it's just foot to the floor. Nothing a simple leg recalibration cant fix.
