When folks like Lamborghini and Maserati are fitting black rims as default, you know you've got good taste

This thread is a bit odd, as if black is such an odd choice of colour. If anything, there should be a thread called 'FLURO WHEELS -- WTF?'

Don't fret guyz. Pretty soon, ALL YOUR BLACK ARE BELONG TO CANDY TEAL. Dat's dat new grassroots movement. Just ask @OmarGC's new wheels.

Inside joke aside, I had to complement my black STI body kit with STI wheels which come in silver, gunmetal, or black for the BRZ. I find black is the best aesthetic match... sort of a tribute to retro 2-tone but with modern style/subtlety. Here's a photobomb from my pressure-cooker. Call me Tamerlan.

It's just people preferences, but I think wheels with all black look like they are steel wheels with no hub caps. They make your car look old/dirtier some how.
I like black wheels with chrome lips on some cars.

Black wheels work better when the body has black accents to complement. The following "Black Edition" cars are pictured with stock black wheels:

Everybody had their own taste.......but i agree i hate black wheels, even grey or matte colour wheels dont work for me. Just hate blacm im general....i nvr buy black cars, wheels, phones, clothes, shoes, etcc

because Race car. Seriously though it goes very well with the black accents and makes a clean transition between the colors. I love my wheels on my SWP BRZ.

I like the murder look so I have black everything but that's my flavor not everyones. To each his/her own. Also black wheels have been around for a long time. For me I can't stand silver, chrome or polished wheels on the FRS because when I see them all I can think about is I'm all show. I like wheels that perform so flashy isn't me.

Adding black to any car makes it look a bit older that why none of cars owned by me have tint or any black parts
