Knowing Hollywood they are most likely going to make the thing transform.

Might help resale value.

Come on people, they will do the BRZ like how they did the 350Z in Tokyo Drift. But maybe this time with the STI spec package. Calm down, you might actually like it. Personally, I really cant wait for the release of the movie now, super excited!

I don't see why anyone is surprised by this. F&F always features the hottest/newest cars along with the best classics.

I didn't think this was news. I at least knew they were going to feature the car months ago

Why couldn't they use the FR-S!? That would fit in just perfect. I like the BRZ because it dosen't seem to attract the same crowd of the FR-S.... Ohh well.

I hope its as entertaining as the original and Fast Five. Some much needed publicity could boost aftermarket interest and resale value as someone stated earlier.

Personally I enjoy seeing real tricked out modded cars, as opposed to people's Need For Speed or Forza Sport computer crap. I still want that Vielside Rx-7 from Tokyo Drift

Absolutely!!!

Look at MKIV Supra values.. F&F definitely helped inflate those.

The new movies certainly aren't focuses on the "lifestyle" of the import tuner crowd.. which is what was so popular about the first movie. But, they still feature the cars heavily and now have enough plot and star power to really sell a lot of tickets. If they feature a BRZ it will certainly help increase the popularity and probably the resale values of the BRZ.

Not really sure how Vin Diesel or The Rock will fit in car.... both are pretty big dudes....
After reading this thread for Tall People, wouldn't surprise me if they did fit.

They made a ricey sti in fast and furious 4, but there aren't tons of ricey gr sti's because of it. Also they are doing the brz because I think they have a good relationship with Subaru and are working to strengthen it.

I'm just hoping that "featuring" the BRZ means a short cameo, like they did with the Sti in the previous F&F. Just enough for those in the know to say "Hey, an Sti!" but not enough that people will latch onto it as a "F&F car".
